"Elephant Ear Sponge," Reef Creature Identification, Paul Humann and Ned Deloach. Massive, thick, rubbery, orange sponge, with pitted and convoluted surface texture. Grows in a variety of irregular masses and patterns. Often forms huge mounds. Inhabits reef walls and prefers areas with some water movement.
