"Shortnose Batfish," Reef Fish Identification, Florida, Carbbean, Bahamas by Paul Humann and Ned Deloach. Inhabits sand , mud and rocky bottoms; occasionally found near reefs. Rests on the bottom and usually partly cover themselves with sand or mud. Apparently relying on camouflage they do not move unless molested.
