\"Myxicola infundibulum\" Field Book of Seashore Life, Ralph Waldo Miner. The comparatively thick body of this worm has about sixty segments, eight of which are included in the thorax. The abdomen, consisting of the remaining segments, has numerous hooks in transverse rows. The general color is pink. The length of each worm is more than two inches. They range from Cape Cod northward on the Atlantic coast and are also found in European seas.
